About the Clinic
The William & Mary Elder Law Clinic was established in 2012 to assist the growing need for legal support and advocacy among the Peninsula region’s elderly inhabitants. We recognize that the aging process affects not only the elderly, but their family, caregivers, and community. Our mission is to provide legal services and advocacy to support everyone affected by the aging process as they prepare for the future, as well as to help with unexpected events as they arise. Staffed by second- and third-year law students at William & Mary, the clinic students provide legal services under the supervision of Helena Mock, esq., an experienced elder law attorney practicing in the Peninsula region.
